Extreme Hiking Bohinj

Fresh from our 13k warmup hike yesterday we decided to embark on a more extreme hiking adventure.  Starting from the little town of Savica, we decided to ascend 900m to a little mountain hut named Dom Na Komni. We opted for the "easy route" which meant that the 900m ascent was spread out over about 5km of switchbacks. At the hut we scarfed down on all sorts of stews and sausage with some coffee to boot.

The next stop was a so called black lake that had a suspicously fishy smell.

Due to time, distance, and bus scheduling constraints we decided to forgo the 65k hike back to our apartment and instead take the "wtf are we jumping off a cliff?" route back to our start point. We made it back with just a couple minutes to spare.
